The ledger
No settings tool in EVE's history has done this: before Replicator writes anything - a copy, a template, a restore - it first snapshots every character's settings into a git repository on your disk. The Version Control tab lists every snapshot, and each one tells you exactly what changed: which characters, which settings groups, how many entries.
Wrecked your overview days ago and only just noticed? Restore only the overview from the snapshot before the damage, and keep every other change you have made since. Nothing you do in this app, or to your UI, is ever more than one restore from undone.
Replicator moves the same core_char_*.dat and core_user_*.dat files the game itself reads.
Window positions and sizes, overview presets and tabs, brackets, chat stacks, shortcuts - and account settings, when the launcher logs identify the account.
Your characters, anything on the game servers, and your data: no account, no telemetry, and nothing leaves the machine unless you point it at a remote of your own.
Permanence
The UI you have spent years tuning is no longer married to one hard drive. One click pushes the whole history to a private repository you own; wipe the machine, reinstall, paste the URL, and every window on every character is exactly where you left it.

A dead drive, a new laptop, a fresh Windows install. None of it reaches a repository that is not on the disk you just wiped.

Install Replicator on the new machine and paste the repository URL. The whole history lands in the ledger; your token is the only thing you had to carry.

The drafting table
Every character unfolds into a blueprint of its window layout, color-coded by family and drawn to scale from the settings file. Press Design and drag: windows move and resize under the pointer, and sizes stop at the real minimums the EVE client enforces - measured, not guessed.
Write the drawing back to the character, or save it as a template and hand the same layout to the whole roster. Draw it once; the game obeys.
Drag a window to move it; the corner handle resizes. Nothing is written until you say so.
